2. The Data We Collect & How We Store It

RichAI is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not store your financial data on our servers. All transaction history, categories, and account details are stored locally on your device (using SwiftData) and synced securely via your personal Apple iCloud account.

3. Third-Party AI Processing

To provide advanced features like ThinkBuddy and Voice interactions, we utilize third-party APIs (such as OpenAI). When you interact with the AI, the necessary conversational data is sent to these services for processing. These third-party services do not use your personal financial data to train their models.

4. Analytics & Advertising

We respect your focus and privacy. RichAI does not use third-party analytics (like Firebase or Mixpanel) or advertising networks. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Portability

Since your financial data is stored locally on your device and within your personal iCloud account, you retain full control over its retention. If you delete the app or delete your data within the app, it is removed from your device and iCloud. We do not retain backup copies of your financial data on our servers. You may also export your data (e.g., in CSV format) at any time.

6. International Data Transfers

When you use features powered by third-party AI (like Voice & Scan), the necessary conversational or image data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence (such as the United States). By using these features, you consent to this processing, which is governed by strict security and privacy safeguards.

7. Age Requirement

RichAI is a financial tool. You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
